An update from K – sorry about the delay here – the queue has been very full lately:
Today was really cool for 2 reasons:
1. In addition to my teacher and the other French teacher, the special ed teacher was there [ed. note: I assume this is at that lunch French story table thing they got going]. She asked if her students could watch our story. We said that they could be part of it . The teacher hesitated, saying that they wouldn’t be able to. After a bit of convincing, her class acted in the story and by the end of lunch, we had “language exempt ” students speaking French.
2. We have a number of talented musicians at my school and a couple of them played their instruments as the background and to go along with the mood. We are going to try a story based on song lyrics this week too.
