OK what is the deal with Haikudeck? Are we going to use it as a slide show delivery platform, or just some of us? How will we make vPQA happen, for those doing it this year, in our classrooms? Will most people just make their vPQA slide shows using Google Images in PP?
My reasoning for avoiding PP when we were investigating it last spring was just to avoid law suits because of image use policy restrictions. I’d like to know if anybody is with me, if I should drop HD because the images aren’t very wonderful, etc. My goal is a set of hundreds of canned classes that we can plug and play. Can we make that happen here this year?
Those interested in seeing any of the nine decks we have built so far can visit Haikudeck’s website, user name is vpqaci@gmail.com and the password is krashenrocks. Thanks for his leadership on this to Craig West.
Caution that some of the decks don’t follow the rather important specs laid down by Julie Soldner…
…so we may need to edit, make changes, etc. to those nine before we use them. We can also translate a deck that is in another example into our language. We’re just now learning with this stuff. But many of us are planning on making vPQA a big part of our instruction this year and moreso because chill just presented on it in France.
