Salut Ben!
I am a French teacher at Junction City High School in Kansas. I’m one of those French teachers who is also the French Department. I attended a Blaine Ray Conference, probably 5 years ago in Denver, and decided to make the leap of faith. I told myself I still know more than the students and I would give TPRS a shot because I was tired of seeing students with that glazed look of disinterest on their faces. I couldn’t teach any other way now. My district hasn’t been supportive to fund additional training at conferences so this discussion group is a lifesaver for me. It’s great to have access to the plethora of ideas and strategies and shared experiences. I’m always “tweaking” my lessons and strategies and am finding new pieces of the puzzle all the time from you and your contributors. Merci beaucoup.
