Not one of those people pronounced the word “voces” accurately. This was “muy quesoso”.
I only made it through two minutes or so of this 11-minute travesty. My gag reflex took over at that point, and I had to turn it off. It was almost like they made a promo video advertising exactly what NOT to do in a language classroom. It really reflects the chasm, gulf, grand canyon between us and them. I am horrified.
And this is new, so it’s only the beginning.
What if I hadn’t found this site? Would I have been one of them? Scary thought…
omg! like, i wanted to teach sairrr and istarrr today? but, like, i was at parent-teacher conferences? so like, there was a lesson all prepared in vosiz! omg!
The kids are always begging for a video because that’s their time to pass notes, hand out gum, hide the ear buds in their ears, doze off in the back, record the corny actors on their iPhones so they can post to YouTube what a joke their Spanish class is….
