Angie describes below how to upload class video footage from an iPad to YouTube. I include it here to make it easy for people to load up in the comment fields video from their own classes.
I publish these current four posts on Video Comments with great hope that this new option from Angie will alter the way many of us see our roles here in the PLC, that they can and will send in video for the benefit of all, leaving their egos at the door and understanding that the more video we can watch of each other teaching, the more we as a community will learn, and far faster than by reading written posts on intellectual ideas.
PEOPLE NEED TO SEE EACH OTHER TEACHing IN ORDER TO GRASP WHAT CI IS. Now that we have this direct roadway from our iPads to YouTube we should totally use it just as one would attend a conference in the summer. It really is just that simple.
Angie shares how simple and fast and easy it is to get your classroom instruction to the rest of us here in the community:
“I took the video, select it in the camera roll, touch the icon that means “upload”, it’s a rectangle with an arrow coming out of it. One of the options is to upload to Youtube. You touch that icon, then make it a private upload, give it a title, and tell it to go ahead, and a few minutes later it’s ready to share. That’s how I did it anyway, and it seems like it worked.”
