Q. If you are trying to limit the length of the story to the overall 25 – 35 minute desired time frame, wouldn’t the transportation scenes add time to the story and “blow it up” too much?
A. Yes it would. But I think it would be fine in that case to have a story of up to 45 minutes. The only reason to keep the story short is to keep people from getting caught up in the big mess that stories can become. What the transportation scene does, however, is just the opposite. It is actually a brain break for everyone. It is a fun visually dominant and physical letting off of steam and so it helps things along.
