The Forum Is Ready!

Hi PLC Members,

The Forum is ready!

You will have to do a one time registration to use the forum.  But don’t worry, I’ve made it simple for you with a new tutorial. Click the link below.

How To Register For The Forum

In the navigation menu at the top, you will see I’ve added two new hard links, “Tutorials” and “Forum”.  In the tutorials link, I’ve put the tutorial on how to add your picture to your comments and the tutorial on how to register to the forum.  The forum link takes you to the forum!

So get registered for the forum and then start using it for your discussions with each other!

Everything has been updated on the site so just know that “behind the scenes” everything is running very smoothly.

Thanks,

Trevor

    1. I was wondering about that, too. It asks you if you would like to change your password to s’thing easier to remember, then if you click on the link it takes you back to your profile page but there is nowhere to change your password. I’m sure it’s in the works, right? 🙂

    1. Trust me Brigitte without Trevor we wouldn’t have even been able to make that initial change to a private PLC. I have wanted to brag about him for years and years now. He’s amazing and I am very grateful for what he has done here for us.

  1. Ha, just found it. When you click on the “forum” link after registering, it gives you all the options, including changing your password if you go to account settings.

  2. After I have logged in, when I try to post a new thread, I get this error message:

The page you are trying to access is restricted due to a security rule.

If you believe the security rule is affecting the normal operation of your website,
you can disable it by adding the following lines to your .htaccess file:

    # Turn the filtering engine On or Off
    SecFilterEngine Off

    1. James,

I’m not sure why you aren’t able to post to the blog and others are able to. I’m checking in to this. Thanks for letting us know this is happening.

          1. James,

It looks like you were able to add a new topic (thread) to the forum. Please confirm for me that you can now create a new topic (thread) and also comment on other people’s topics in the forum.

            Thanks,

            Trevor

  3. Thank Trevor again. He is amazing. He once hit a ball out of the Superdome in a college baseball game (into the concession area through those entry hallways). Had to have been a 450 foot blast or more. He decided to forego professional baseball to help us with the blog. Now that is a righteous dude!

  4. Hi! Thanks for all the hard work!
I’ve been able to log on to the forum and PLC from both my work computer and my iPad until now. I just got home from work and I tried to log in to the forum and it kicks me back to the main login page for the PLC.

My screen name on the forum is different than my email login for the PLC. The password are also different…I don’t know if this is the problem although it worked just fine on my work computer.

  5. Ben,

It seems that immediately after having made a comment here, I was able to click the forum link at the top and be brought to the sign-in page. It was as if I needed to comment here first before it’d stop kicking me back to your homepage. It’s never happen on my actual PC so maybe it’s an iPad thing….
