Thank you for the bios. They along with the normal flow of articles from the queue will start to appear once we are through this current stoppage for the redesign, the addition of the forum, and the verification of group members’ accounts. Please do the following:
1. Visit this link:
https://benslavic.com/blog/alphabetized-list-of-current-plc-members/
to confirm accuracy of the list of paid members. If there are errors, send the corrections to me at benslavic@yahoo.com.
2. Send in a bio if you haven’t already. Dr. Patrick’s students at the University of Georgia need not do this as reading here is part of their course requirements. Please help me by checking and updating or submitting your bio. If you do so, I don’t have to, and the process of deleting memberships with no bios will be a lot faster for me.
3. Be prepared to be deleted if you have not sent in a bio or if you are not a paid member, and remember that signing up through your school is no longer an option for joining the PLC.
Re: the CI Primer, simplicity has led us to decide on Robert’s eleven point document. It kicks some very serious ass and we know it will be used far and wide as a simple document to hand to any administrator who requests something simple and clear (and ass kicking) to explain how what we do is fast becoming the new normal (Grant Boulanger’s term) in foreign language instruction.
Those working on other documents please get them to me when they are completed. We can decide where to put them. Right now I am thinking they should appear as drop down tabs on the TPRS/CI Primer hard link that will go up on the PLC home page in the next few days (for immediate use by anyone who currently has an administrator breathing down their neck).
Trevor is in the final stages of smoothing out the Forum – it should be working for everyone. We should be back to normal soon, with the benefit now of having the forum and the PLC going on at the same time. Thank you for your patience. Those who have been here awhile know about the importance of a smooth functioning and secure site.

oh! We need the “search” feature back on the blog. I just came from trying to search for “input primer” for Nathaniel on the forum but couldn’t! eheu! (oh dear/crap!)
The search feature is back.
I tried to register for the forum but did not receive an email with the password…is there a lag time? I registered 5-10 min. ago.
Angie sometimes the email gets sent to your junk or spam folder. Check there. Hopefully you found it, if not, let Ben know!
