I found another benefit to the super simple block class schedule – because it keeps the content directly and completely connected to the story for well over 100 minutes through and into two blocks, I am getting a lot more reps on the same material than I did before when I used to use a wider variety of strategies. (This is not to say that I won’t use those other strategies: I will use them later when the stories juggernaut slows down.) So the benefit of this new schedule is not just that I feel totally in control of what all my classes are doing, which is huge, I am also getting extended reps on the original story targets, now in the form of reading. It’s pretty much the way Blaine set it up in the first place.
