I thought of some:
“How has working with CI changed your daily classroom model?”
“How have your students responded”
“Do you ever think that you will have mastered teaching in this new way?”
“Have you ever thought about leaving the profession? Why?”
“If you have thought about leaving the profession, why did you stay?”
“How has working with CI changed your life/routine outside your contractual hours?”
“How has working with CI changed your approach to professional development?”
Good ones, Robert! Thanks.
1. How does your current CI practice compare to your teaching before the shift?
2. What kinds of tasks do you do in preparation for or as follow-up to your language classes?
3. Describe the community response (parents, other teachers, kids, admin) to your T/CI.
“One mistake I made while learning to TCI is…”
“Before TCI I looked forward to… With TCI I look forward to…”
“At the end of the day of TCI I feel…”
*I’m thinking in terms of talking prompts instead of questions. I’d love to see where this documentary leads, Ben!
Sean I wish I were coming to OK next week but I’m not. Would love to see you and family. I am not taking the documentary into the obvious direction – traditional vs. CI. I’m just wanting to get a lot of video of a lot of people all in one place to just be able to sit and watch all the cool things they say about CI. Kind of a mass of testimonials than trying to prove a point. Any ideas for how it should go? Thanks for the questions.
