Cool! In our neck of the woods, a we have Rich People High, whose language teachers are Grammar Grinderz. This “works”– ie theyhave AP and IB prgrams–cos they have wealthy, egg-head parents who whip them on and hire them tutors, bla bla, plus there are a lot of four-percenters who feel that if they don’t go to University, life will end.
Two years ago a devoted TPRS teacher– Adriana– showed up, all post-Blaine-workshop-aglow, and started TPRS. Her beginners did so well that they went straight from Spanish 9 to Spanish 11. She’s done so well that even their Defartment Head– analpha Grammar Grinder– is now doing TPRS pro-D with the dept members. If you succeed, they will come.
