I just logged on to the site for the first time in a few months. Life got too crazy for a bit. As a middle school teacher, I only get together with my overall department a few times a year. But good news – this time, one of the new hires at the high school this year started quietly suggesting Blaine Ray and everyone else started asking tons of questions. She then emailed out the general information materials to the staff, so I started sending out some web sites too, etc. She is taking another teacher with her to the Blaine Ray pd course. The response overall in my department has been good. I emailed her personally and asked if we could work together -I”m glad to have a buddy (hopefully more than one). What a relief, since I know this is the “better” way to teach a language. It definitely feels like the tide is starting to turn a bit (like you wrote recently).
Anyway, the update to the site with the headers across the top is terrific. Thanks for doing this all and I look forward to doing lots of reading and practicing this summer. Next year – full steam ahead!
