Just started another trimester here and I feel like things have been going well. I’ve been focusing just on the super 7. I used a .ppt to introduce 4 on monday “esta, es, tiene, disgusta” then two more tuesday:”va, and hay” . On wednesday we reviewed the words with some cloze style reading and a discussion of some images adding “quiere”. Today we did a movie talk from @birdbox studio are you familiar? The video is called pubdog. Had a 45 minute movietalk with just the super 7 adding in “ve” which was our last one. I think it was the highest rep movietalk I’ve ever done. This morning we opened with a discussion of an image; Alfred and Bruce wayne standing together to introduce viejo and joven. We discussed that image for a good 20 min then went into the video. If you haven’t seen it I think you’d enjoy it! includes words like: papitas, roba, baston, periodico, anteojos, bar, cerveza, etc.
Anyways….from time to time I like to let you know what I’m up to since I’m the only Spanish teacher here. Hope things are going well.
