So today I began class with 10 minutes of reading our class readings document. I can share that with you if you’d like to see it. I asked them to read about one classmate, and one character. They all read. Then we did a short discussion around 2 questions “You read about what classmate or what character”. Then I took roll, we did our town meeting, quickly assigned a quiz writer, a time keeper and put a character on the projector screen. My squirrliest class of the day was completely in sync for our description of the character. I realized that before I was trying to squeeze too much information into the 15 minutes and it felt disjointed I went on a very narrow focus: name, age lives in, family, talent/special ability, and problem. I put the details for all of the characters on an index card so I can reference it easily. Once the time was up, I took the quiz and read the questions. The class went fabulously smooth and I feel like we had good quality input with a tight focus. This is my report thanks again Ben
