Matava Story Reading Class

Here is the reading for tomorrow based on the story that Anne gave me published below. I arranged it so that one class did not do the story today, just PQA on the structures, so they will do the story tomorrow, but the other class did the story today so that I can model a reading class tomorrow. I want my guests to be able to see both a story and a reading. Maybe someone can use this reading as a model for their classes if they do Anne’s story – all you would need to do is change the variables to reflect what happened in your own class stories. I would say that there is about 30% embedded new vocabulary in this reading, which is about the right amount, maybe a little too much but I tend to do that because these readings are when kids flat out learn a language.
For the reading class, I will do the procedures described at this link:

  1. I hearby make a motion that no apologies are needed!! We write these blog pieces off the cuff… in our few spare minutes. Errors will occur!! (Now I have eliminated the need to ask for forgiveness to my last post on structures ;o) )
    with love,
