Here is Kathryn’s bio, and :

Hi Ben,

I have been teaching Japanese in Australia for seven years and have always valued the use of gestures to reinforce vocabulary acquisition. Last year, my personal focus in teaching was to increase my use of the target language in the classroom and it was the combination of these two goals (greater use of gestures and target language) that brought me to TPRS. I am in the very initial stages of attempting the techniques in my classroom. Already I am enjoying developing my PQA skills but I still have a long way to go. I teach at three primary schools (years 5, 6 & 7) and in-class hours of learning range between 40 and 60 hours per year. Lessons are between 30 and 60 minutes each so it’s not much time to delve very deeply…. Still, I will keep working at it and see what we can achieve.

Regards,
