Here is Julia’s bio:
My name is Julia Lo. I teach Russian at Tower House School, London, UK. I also have private students, both adults and children. Though my original degree was in languages, I worked in Marketing and IT for a few years. Only after having my first child and starting to teach him and his friends Russian, I realised how much I missed teaching. In my search for effective teaching methods and strategies, I discovered TPRS and fell in love with it. It just seemed so true in many ways. I studied all the materials I could find but undoubtedly the most helpful were Ben’s books and DVDs, recordings of Susan’s workshops, as well as webinars on http://www.fluencymatter.com/s.com. I am still constantly learning though. I see Ben’s PLC as a way to enrich my teaching skills from a wealth of resources available here, as well as an opportunity to join a unique community of teachers.
