More and more I see students more into not showing up as human beings. Theres tons of criticism, judgement and neglect with kids. There’s also screen time taking over interaction with adults. It seems hard at times having to co exist with classes that promote technology and online platforms. Social skills are also lacking. I wish I had a ci class to interact with. There’s a kid with his head down but I gave him the referee job for WTCG. Today he was much more engaged and responsive. So yes character counts.

I did the same today with “A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives.” -Jackie Robinson.
I gave them “A life is not important except…” and then asked them to finish it and to identify the author.
I finished with asking them to give me a one word summation and they all shouted “ubuntu”.
After 4 weeks of classes, me having two sessions with Ben, and the Play the Game rubric I can say my students’ character and imagination are exploding.
So David it is working with the Invisibles at Centenniel? I am very hopeful of getting lots of feedback on them, esp. at the high school level like you, so thanks for this and any other reports we can get from anyone else testing them. This is a very good thing to hear from you:
