There is one thing about the use of English that I am not sure we have mentioned here but that illustrates exactly why it is so crucial to enforce our rules, especially the non-use of English, and strongly. That is that when we have to redirect kids back to L2 by using L1 ourselves (I’m not the only one), we end up losing the flow of the CI. That is bad.
