As I spend two periods of my school day as a Title One teacher with low level 7th graders–helping them with science, social studies, and pre-algebra, I am curious as to the specifics of exactly how to use TPRS strategies in those kinds of subjects!
Lori good to hear from you! When I pressed Linda for more information on that Facebook post, she said that was all she had. So I don’t know which one they used. Maybe it was using gestures. That has been very successfully in math classes. There must be something written about that out there somewhere. I know it’s been (gestures and math) around for at least ten years. Maybe they are just doing gesturing with science. If not, I don’t know what it would be.
