Please help me think about the 100 min block:
1) attendance and check in – 5′
2) daily routine, poem, singing, warm ups, movement – 30’ – 40’
3) vocab and grammar direct instruction 20 ‘ What should I call this? Textbook time?
4) break – 5′
5) CI – 30’ What should I call this? Proficiency time? Communication practice?
6) Close – 5′
Nervous – I start tomorrow. Feel like I’m re-encountering the textbook beast for the first time in 11 years… probably over-thinking it.
Common unit tests every month.
Common final in December
I’ll meet with the other Sp 1 teacher today.
