Mike’s new version of jGR will probably replace it. jGR has our hearts, but all things grow and change and I believe this new version of jGR is terrific and that we should all look at it closely as we consider the nuts and bolts of how we are going to assess our students this year. Tina and I went over to Dave’s classroom at Centennial High during our visit to Los Angeles last week and Dave showed us his version of Mike’s rubric, which Mike explains is a version of jGR. It’s hard to follow all the connections, but I do feel that mGR is going to be a big player in lots of classrooms at 65% of the grade, or in the case of some of those Oregon crazies more, up to 100%. Anyway, Dave, one of the great gentlemen in our profession, sent me this exit ticket to share with anyone following this important thread:
