    1. Martin – I think you and Charlotte should organize one in Charlotte’s city (Bremen) in 2014 (Bremen is my husband’s hometown too!)
      🙂
Just found out that my family is going back there in Summer 2014!!! (and we’re going to the Black Forest as well this time!)

  1. Judy,

I will do my possible to be there and support you guys.
I think you are a superstar and a pioneer for doing that, and in my home country,
I’ m so proud of you!! How far is Agen from Toulouse? I have three sets of uncle, aunts and cousins living in Toulouse, may be I’ll go visit them at the same time since I haven’t seen them in 4 years. Please tell me we are not going to eat the famous pruneaux dans toutes les sauces et dans tous les vins all week….

    1. One of my cousin is married to a Mexican man and she lives somewhere in Mexico, where she teaches French . She’ll probably be there visiting her parents so I ‘ll bring her along and she can educate us on how foreign languages are taught in Mexico!

  2. Actually, there’s this fantastic authentic Japanese restaurant in Agen. So you don’t have to eat pruneaux, but I love the ones that are stuffed with almond paste.

  3. Thanks, Ben, for reposting this. We actually have people from 7 different countries coming. If I get a few more inscriptions I’ll be looking for bigger facilities! A nice problem to have. I’m hoping to make so much noise that the French teachers will start wondering what’s going on.

      Judy,

I sent you an email in response to the “communiqué de presse” and it keeps on coming back as undeliverable?!

Do you have an alternate email address?

  4. Ooohhh I SO wish I could do this. Unfortunately this year I had already locked myself into some other things before this came out. I know it will be fantastic. I hope you will have it again. 🙂

  5. Judy I was serious abt next year. Ditto Jen…. I hope you have it again bc I was just thinking yesterday about what I’m going to do next year not going to a C I conference since I will be in Europe .(that’s the extended family plan so far)

  6. Dear Judy,

I received a strange email in French from you this morning stating that you were in Greece stuck and needed help. Is this legitimate or have you been hacked? Mb also received the same email. She suggested that I post it to the blog rather than your email for safety reason, and to alert others on the blog in case they have also received it (if they have emailed with you in the past).
Please respond or if you cannot email via Skype or call me at 630 849 9423, and/or respond to this blog for the others as well.

    I hope you are safe.

    1. I received the same email and just made a phone call to her home. I talked to her husband. There is definitely no such problem so we can suppose that her email account has been hacked. I’m sure there will be news from Judy soon.

  7. You’re right and I’m not in Greece. And if I were, and if I had problems, I’d talk to my friends there and not send messages over the net.

I have another account: judyldubois112@gmail.com. I do not have a Yahoo account, although someone is using my name with a yahoo account. It’s a very old scam and I can’t believe they ever make any money out of it.

So sorry for all the bother. I’ve been getting messages all day long. If you do want to contact me, use the gmail address.

  8. Hi everyone! I wanted to bring you up to date about the 2015 Agen Workshop. Registration has been open for some time and we already have quite a few signed up. Sabrina Sebban-Janczak, Teri Wiechart, Daniel Dubois and I are excited about making it bigger and better than last year. Marie-Pierre Jouannaud, professor at the University of Grenoble, will be discussing Stephen Krashen. Jayne Cooke, certified therapist in working with children who have” learning disabilities” will explain how and why TPRS works so well with dyslexics and others. We are looking for other interesting presentations, so if you have some bright ideas and want to share, go to http://tprswitch.jimdo.com/call-for-proposals/ and make your proposal. More information about the workshop is at the same site.
