OK. I’m curious, as a non-French speaker… why would you avoid talking about the seal?
Go to wordreference.com and look up the English to French for seal. The o in that word is mixed a bit with a kind of ou sound like in rough and it makes for awkward CI.
Gotcha! (And if I had thought about it, I actually knew that word…)
Especially to be avoided when the seal is taking a shower!
Might as well hang up the CI at that point and get a dictation going just to quiet down the room.
I insist that my classroom is a seal-free zone!
