  1. I had a wonderful moment yesterday, maybe my best so far in my career. It was in a Latin 1 class, typically rather difficult to keep on task and with whom I have fought in the invisible land from the first moment of the first day of school. We were 5 or so minutes in to a 15-20 minute “Ten Minute Deal” and it was going GREAT. And then it happened: I had the realization in that moment of just how well stuff was going and how far this class had come. I was in the middle of asking questions and circling and working with actors and I had the wherewithal to thank God in my heart that everything was going so well. What a blessing.

  2. A boy came in with a winter hat on yesterday. I asked him in TL if he was wearing his hat because he was cold. He answered, in TL, that no, he was having a day bad hair. It was a beautiful moment. Like yours, James, small and fleeting but golden.
