This reminds me of things that only happen in CI classes. I had to talk to a student once outside privately. I told a student, “lead the class.” Another more extroverted student got up and started to ask questions like “who” “what is the problem” etc… they were making a mini-story as I was coaching a student. The student who I picked was the prof 2. Then I come in and I see the students raising their hands to give suggestions. It was an amazing, zany, wacky class. I have to remind myself that I am there to accept and celebrate every individual kid in the class.
Wow. Now I am remembering a student who volunteered to do a movie talk in front of the whole class asking questions like “Qu’est-ce qu’il y a?” etc… I miss these students.
