Sabrina! Thank you so much. I love your body language and the sweet, inviting openness of your smile is priceless. Loved the vibe I was getting from your rapport with your kids!
Great job!
Carol
Thank you Chill! If I recall, you have a pretty sweet smile yourself!
And yes fut is commonly used by native speakers. It is so hard for me to just stay with passé composé and imparfait, ESPECIALLY when doing stories b/c as you know passé simple is the LANGUAGE OF STORIES IN FRENCH ( written and spoken).
French people use that all the time in everyday speech, well at least people formally educated. So when I was debating about this and I asked Ben back in October if I should avoid using it, he told me absolutley not, to just speak natural langauge so that s what I do . I stop thinking about it and I use it naturally as I would normally do. Does it interfere with comprehension in the kids? I don’t think so. They ve never stopped and given me the signal so I just keep on going…..
Thank you for your comments Chill. I hope to see you in Dallas this year. If I recall you and I were in Jason RT session last summer being pirates! I don’t remember any of it though……
I will for sure be in Dallas and am almost positive about San Diego. Yes, I did RT with Jason but it seemed more complicated than what Carol G is explaining. I am going to her BER presentation at the end of the month. I was talking to Laurie and I agree with her when she says that the doldrums of Jan-Feb-March scream out for TCI get togethers. I need a shot in the arm and your videos and Ben’s were just what the doctor ordered! Ca me fait du bien!
