I truly believe that if we had started with CI methods sooner our fate would have been different.
This fuels my passion and my gratefulness to all of those who have helped me learn, grow and change.
Pre TPRS, my principal suggested I “learn” Spanish just in case. My numbers were way down in French. I have 31 in French 1 up from 20 a few years back. I even have kids bailing out of Latin 1 into French. I have a Spanish 3 kid who wants to chuck SP 4 to do French 1. In all, I currently have 102 kids enrolled. School population: 750. I am the only French teacher. It’s not me; it’s the process.
