Bryan Whitney said (about the fact that typing up stories for Step 3 of TPRS can be time consuming):
…it’s often enough to just type up the most important scene of the story. That way there’s less that needs to be typed up, plus it focuses on the most important part. Plus, when you add a few interesting details of your own and some new vocabulary you can spend extra time focusing on that….
This is a breakthrough for me. I always felt that I had to type up the whole story.
Two other ways of dealing with having to type too much information up after a story:
1. write a shorter more condensed version of the entire story t make sure the targets are included.
2. do only one story at a time with the other classes doing other things, so you never have to write up more than one story on any given evening.
But the idea of only writing up the compelling part is the best idea. Maybe like one or at the m0st two paragraphs. For those who use ROA for Step 3 that right there is an entire block.
