My name is Scott Grapin, and I teach Spanish in northern NJ. This is my second year teaching, and I currently teach SpEd Spanish 1, Spanish 2, and Advanced Spanish 4. I first learned about CI/TPRS in my teacher preparation program at the University of Virginia (Curry School). Prior to my student teaching internship, Susan Gross delivered an awesome three-day TPRS workshop to the world language teachers in Albemarle County. I was sold. I used some TPRS throughout the internship and during my first year teaching, and I am now teaching exclusively with CI methods. Although I don’t participate much in the discussion, I read the blog often, and it has been a source of great comfort and knowledge this year. Thanks for that.
Thanks, Ben.
Scott
