Thanks for writing and for sharing—and for your very kind comments about me! It was fun to look at your videos at Edgartown. I’m of course familiar with a lot of these methods, techniques, and overall approaches and applaud them. I especially applaud all of your (plural) efforts in trying to make change. It is MUCH harder to do so at the university level. The pushback here is great, as you might imagine. And as you also might imagine, there is pushback to “Where are the experts?”. But I think someone needed to raise some important issues about university education. I’m hoping the discussion will continue.
In any event, I’m hoping we can meet someday. Are you going to AATSP in Denver? ACTFL in San Diego? Let me know.
