Laura just returned to her classroom after a family loss. Normally, that would be a tall order, to restore the classroom to prime form after a month of subs and right before a vacation. Here is her report:
Hi Ben,
I was out from school for over a month. When I got back, the clamor was loud and strong from all: “We’re doing a character today, right?” They expected nothing less.
That’s exactly what we did. No need to plan on my part, no targeting anything. Everyone fit into their job. The steps were the guide. The posted rules calmed us all in our enthusiasm.
We created together, shared our love and had a good time. I rode their energy and their love. We rode it together.
I was very tired at the end of the day, but felt some soothing in this sad time for me.
Such is the power of The Invisibles.
