Fantastic Keri!!!!! We all enjoy a little good news this time of year!
with love,
Laurie
This is really great to hear Keri… especially this part:
“Two of them actually told me that my class was the one they felt most prepared for regarding exams even though they haven’t had any “homework” nor “tests” all year!”
No homework. No tests. And yet the kids stated that they were most prepared for THAT exam. Hmmm. Must have to do with the power of the unconscious mind in acquiring languages. Verily, memorization has no place in this work.
“memorization has no place in this work.”
I just led a workshop for my department called “Vocabulary: Beyond Memorization” where I focused on that very point. Homework and memorization are pointless exercises, in my humble opinion.
Great job, Keri! This makes my heart sing 🙂
Ditto, Keri! Great work!
