Hello,
I am a first year teacher at the high school level and I love the ideas you present in your book A Natural Approach to the Year. I am wondering if you have developed anything or have any suggestions on where to look for examples of how this is used in upper level courses. I teach AP, Spanish III, and Spanish for Native Speakers. I have one Spanish II class that I can use your methods with but in the upper level courses I would love to use similar techniques but don’t know exactly how to incorporate the teaching of reading and writing skills that can prepare them for the AP test.
I was just hoping to find any examples or materials that help with these classes.
I love everything I’m reading in your book and agree that learning shouldn’t be structured, but allowed to come naturally to the learners.
