We must remember that the aquisition is first then students can perform any task because they will manipulate the Language as they wish. Of course they need enough CI. I like this blog post by homeboy whose name i can never remember.

In short we don’t teach to these tasks. We give CI then we can “test” to see if it happens in our classes.
