Phillies/D'backs (off topic)

Just to say we’re feeling for Chill’s Phils and Dziedzic’s Diamondbacks as they lost excrutiating games last night. Especially the way Howard went down. Now that is the second time in a row that your Phillies, Carol, have been the best team in baseball but didn’t win the Big Dance like they should have. However, Carol, an ardent Phillies fan, took a characteristically positive stance on the Phils’ loss in telling me that “the loss was a very sad one, a horrible ending to a great season. Pitchers and catchers in February!”...[ital. mine]
Once, two years ago, Carol helped me stay positive in a very tough and emotional situation involving TPRS, and so here she again calls our attention to the fact that, even if we are having hard times getting our minds around this weird way of teaching right now, and we are in conflict with others over it, we can always look forward to better days and not forfeit our hopes and dreams in doing so. Think of the brilliant movie Groundhog Day, which somebody referenced here recently (who was that?). If that movie pertains to anyone, it pertains to us, right? We got to keep on trucking!
