Great entry. Man I wish it were that easy though…in our dept the French teachers just refuse to try anything new despite overwhelming evidence about c.i.’s effectiveness. Oh well.
The article also has points on how to help administrators understand and support the transition, and how to explain to them the value of training (for example).
This article is full of wisdom. If you have a copy of the 7th ed of Fluency Through TPR Storytelling, you will find it in a slightly edited form on p. 459, in Appendix J. So it has Blaine’s and Contee’s stamp of approval also.
