Way to go, Greg! I look forward to reading it soon. I believe you shared the beginnings of this book with me last year, or rather, with all of us at our TCI Chicagoland meeting. Didn’t it come out of a Special Person interview or something?
No, this was when I first got into CI. I wrote a story based on the textbook theme since I was required to teach with Descubre. Then the students really liked it and talked about it even when I saw them in the halls the next school year. Last year we read the story as a class even though I was no longer tied to the textbook in Spanish 3.
Now I no longer teach Spanish 3, so I don’t know if our new hires who teach Spanish 3 will use it or not.
Thanks, Greg. I haven’t read it yet. But what was the textbook theme?
Textbook theme was nature and environment vocab.
