2 thoughts on “New Latin Site”
Thanks for sharing this here, Ben. We went live with the site on Jan. 3 but did not announce it until two weeks ago. We are adding materials to it daily. The PLC here is linked as are other CI practitioners’ sites and offerings. As of tonight, Jan 30, we have had 1389 views of the various things on our site from the US, the UK, Spain, Malawi, Japan. We do not see Latin CI any differently than CI for any other language, as you well know, but we know our colleagues–Latin teachers–would feel more invited into CI if there were a site specifically put together by Latin teachers. Even today, though, I’ve shared the site with a ML teacher in my district who wants his department to explore CI because of a presentation that I did. If that’s not going full circle, nothing is. We continue to hear Ben and this PLC reverenced on our list serve almost daily. It’s a wonderful time to be doing this work.
Congratulations on this new endeavor Team Latin!!! You continue to inspire me.
with love,
Laurie
