I currently teach adult ESL classes at a community college in Iowa. I am currently experimenting with a number of comprehension based techniques though I have used TPRS exclusively while teaching English in the past in Guatemala. I speak fluent Spanish and my wife is Guatemalan. I got interested in Krashen when I realized that his model did the best job of explaining what had worked and not worked for me in acquiring Spanish and it’s the only explanation for how my wife acquired English since she never took any classes or studied it much. My wife may be teaching Spanish next year at a private school and will be able to do it how she wants so she will be benefiting from this blog also.
I have been reading your blog for several years and look forward to where you and you readers will take it from here.
