iPad Users

If you try to use your ipad to read the blog when you’re on the go, it may not work. When you open the website, it usually doesn’t even provide the “member log in” option, which is the little button on the top right corner.
This is because the header (the stuff above the navigation bar) is done in Adobe Flash. Apple and Adobe are at war right now and Apple decided, for the time being, to not allow Flash to show on iPads.
Flash is everywhere on the web so iPad users are a little upset since their iPads cannot view Flash until this war is over. I don’t know what the politics are there but it makes it difficult for us all!
Tablets that are PC-based can see Flash just fine. It’s just the Apple ones (iPad) that have this problem. Here is the URL link for logging in and you can just include it in your Favorites – that is the easiest way to deal with this problem for now (https://benslavic.com/dap/login.php).

  1. I have an Ipad, have even used it in Spain and Greece. and there is no trouble. In fact, the easiest way is of all, the first time, write in the whole log-in address that ends in /login.php. Then each subsequent time, when you write the B of Ben to start the entering that login address it appears on brief list of past history appears and you click. However, Traveling abroad sometimes seem to cause the system to suspect that an unauthorized person is trying to enter the site.
Steve Jobs claims that Flash greatly reduces battery time and causes too many crashes. But there is an inexpensive IPAD app called ISWIFTER through which you can supposedly view streamed flash videos emitted from any web site.
