I really like the idea of mentioning to parents before school starts what to expect in terms of expectations from their child in the coming school year. I know that not all parents will be able/take the opportunity to do this, but some do. This third suggested blog post is about the classroom rules:
French Classroom Rules
Here are the French Classroom Rules for this year. They will be fully explained in the first few weeks of class so that your child will feel comfortable with them. If we all follow these rules, you will be surprised at the results!
Classroom Rules
Listen with the intent to understand.
One person speaks and the others listen.
Suggest cute answers.
No English.
If the teacher is not clear tell him/her.
Sit up…Squared shoulders….Clear eyes.
Do your 50%.
