These short French 2 clips from the “Histoire de Bubhakemeier” from East High last spring never seem to end. In this one it is because I took an entire second day on the story just to do a location 3, which is rare but I wanted to get some reps on some of the out of bounds stuff that I had mistakenly allowed into the story the day before. The way to avoid going out of bounds, of course, is to not use out of bounds words, but Diana told me that once a word is in, it is best to use and circle it and teach it. That is a good reason to keep to the story script and keep things aligned with the first three target structures. Anyway, this clip finds us half way through the third location as we work our way to the end of the story and get ready for the reading. Honestly, the reason I am asking so many questions here is not to get reps, but because I was thoroughly confused about what was going on – it happens a lot – but, strangely, the kids always seem to know what is going on, so I just kept on asking questions:

(French teachers will hear that I made a subjunctive mood error but eventually corrected it. This happens. We are so wrapped up in the questioning that we make errors. Big deal.)
