Costa Rica Opportunity

Elissa has something going in Costa Rica for the spring:

Hello fellow bloggers!

For a couple of years I’ve been dreaming about teaching a CI Spanish course for adults in Costa Rica and it is finally happening! I am really excited! I could use your help getting the word of the course out beyond my circle of contacts. If you can forward the link to your coworkers/friends/relatives, etc… I would be really grateful. You could also share the link on Facebook, or “like” Escuelita Spanish School” there (link below). If you have other ideas for marketing, let me know. I also find it challenging to adequately articulate just how freaking awesome CI classes are…! So if you have any thoughts on that….

¡MIL GRACIAS!

Here is a course description and a link:

I donated a spot on the course to the Intelligent Optimist’s online holiday auction. I think the bidding is at $600 for the course… (includes all classes, 8 nights lodging, and most meals) So, someone could get an amazing deal there: http://www.biddingforgood.com/auction/item/Item.action?id=182044814

(The course itself costs under $900 (8 night, all-inclusive) if registered by Dec. 15! ¡Qué fantástico!)

¡PURA VIDA! SPANISH IMMERSION IN COSTA RICA APRIL 13th – 21st, 2013

Escuelita Spanish School’s 8-day Spanish Immersion guarantees that you will leave understanding and speaking more Spanish than you thought possible. Our lively and creative classes will have you laughing and absorbing the language as effortlessly as children do. Daily Spanish classes are complemented by time exploring the village and the rainforest of Mastatal and the beach in Esterillos Este. You might find yourself playing soccer in the local daily soccer game, swimming in a crystal-clear waterfall, taking salsa dance classes, learning to cook “gallo pinto” with a local family, volunteering in an elementary school, surfing, working on a ranch, hiking in a national forest, or watching the sunset while relaxing in a hammock. This course combines the two most effective ways to learn Spanish: comprehensible-input based classes and immersion into the language and culture. It is appropriate for students of all levels of Spanish. We hope you join us on this adventure!
