Oh! Do you know these important statistics, which are courtesy of the CL booklet? The document is called “Stages of Second Language Oral Acquisition”. The headings are: Stage/time/definition/appropriate activities/receptive vocabulary.

And yet, in this demonstration, “students” were saying numbers on the first day? These people weren’t even following their own material, let alone Krashen! How can we expect to get anything reliable from people who say in their official written statements one thing and then do another?
