We are off and running. The energy and enthusiasm in class last night was high. All the students are masters level and doctoral students in various language programs: ESL, linguistics, German, Spanish, Russian, etc. As of this morning, I have approved a total of 30 for the class. Thanks for everyone’s encouragement and support here.
Bob,
That is so super exciting!!
Please let us know what you students think, their level of appreciation for the class and the outcome if any….
Thank you for doing this . Yeah, knowledge is no longer confined within the wall of the Ivory Towers, to the elite and the few but but given as a gift to future educators who will spread the wealth of CI .
Watch out! Perhaps we are changing the status of Foreign Language Education in America. I am so happy to be part of this revolutionary movement !
Bob, that is so exciting! What a great turnout. I hope that it gives a boost to other schools in developing similar courses.
Dittos Sabrina and Diane. There is a crack in the dike!
Bob, this is amazing news. Obviously there are students who want what you offer. They will soon add their energy to the change in World Language Instruction.
It will be so exciting to hear from your students, Bob. They will bring a completely untainted view point to the discussion (I assume). This should be interesting.
Wow, this is such a testimony to your reputation as an educator Bob. I am so happy for you, and for these students. I wish that I could be a fly on the wall!!
with love,
Laurie
