Dr. Mikey Fowlin, poet, actor, psychologist, came to our school back in January. The beginning of this video is a homage to the power of stories, but about 7 minutes in he gets very serious about the lack of empathy. Fowlin assumes different personalities and voices to drive his point home that everyone is beautiful. Bright, gifted and funny, he has a great way of connecting with kids. This is one of the very poignant vignettes he presented to us last winter. Comfort for the bullied and a mirror for the bullier.
