If we need a lot of reps on the three structures before leaving the PQA and starting in with the story, then what happens when we do PQA for, like, 30 minutes and then we are stuck with only fifteen or so for the story, not to mention the quick quiz? Should we just stay with the PQA for the whole period at that point, do a real little story, or what?
I would think that we would just finish the class with the PQA, just keeping on asking the kids questions about the three structures but not trying to get a real story going, and do the story the next day. Or maybe just build a little situation, not a story, as per that blog of three or four days ago that talked about the difference between a story and a situation. I guess it also depends on the quality of the PQA, and the quality of the potential story. Any ideas?
