Hi Ben –
I’d like to know what you, or the group, would suggest for classes that just don’t work. By “don’t work” I mean they lack the interest, motivation or communication skills to do what a CI class should be able to do.Classes that will not abide by the 6 simple rules and that will not interact in the language even after being sent up, waited on, etc. Students that will not read. How do you keep your planning low and not have to grade a butt load of poorly done work and still teach the handful of students that have potential?
I suppose the best thing would be to just find a different teaching job, but those are few and far between and with 4 kids I can’t exactly uproot my family because I’m bored. What do you guys think?
