Time to Reflect – 1

Over our ten years of sharing ideas together here, we have gone through many changes. We have argued, gnashed our teeth, celebrated accomplishments, complained, talked each other off the ledge, etc. We have changed and grown, without even really noticing it, as one watches a child grow into an adult without really noticing the extent of the changes that have taken place.

In the next few posts here, I would like to reflect on this growth and the nature of these ten years that he have spent together. One important thing is that a few years ago we all kind of unanimously agreed that our mental health was the most important thing of all. Finally we decided that after eight years of furious striving to find the best way to teach using CI. That was laudable but not healthy for us.

So focusing on our mental health and doing less work in our buildings while getting greater gains in our kids by working smarter and not harder has, at least in my mind, risen to the top of the topics that we have talked about over the years.
