I was just thinking how the standard TPRS/CI folks always like to say how the kids need variety in the instructional process. In my view it’s not the routine that causes the kids to get bored. On the contrary, they need structure through the week. I think, rather, that keeping the focus of the kids is mainly determined by the quality of the content. Good content (good images with good back stories and wonderful story boards) keeps the kids involved. It’s not the variety. It’s the content. Great content brings true rigor.
